Donald Kenneth Gutierrez (March 10, 1932 – October 29, 2013) was an American writer and professor emeritus of English literature. Biography The eldest son of Latin-American immigrants, he was born in Oakland, California, in 1932. He taught at the University of Notre Dame and the Western New Mexico University in Silver City, New Mexico. He studied English literature at University of California, Berkeley in the early 1950s.
