Gustavsfors Bruk
Gustavsfors is a small Sweden, Swedish village located next to Dalsland Canal on the border between the provinces Dalsland and Värmland along county road 172. The main part of the village is located in Torrskogs district in Bengtsfors Municipality, Västra Götaland County. Smaller parts of the village is located in Blomskogs district in Årjäng Municipality, Värmland County and in Vårviks district. Economy Past Gustavsfors passes the closed Dal-Västra Värmlands railway which is being used by train traffic between Årjäng and Bengtsfors. Gustavsfors bruk has been there since the 1740s. There is also Gustavsfors Chapel, a hostel called Alcatraz which was built in an old warehouse by the canal between the lakes Stora Le and Kyrksjön There are some summertime cafes and restaurants, canoe rental and a general store and one German bakery called Lars-Olofs Kopparkittel which bakes authentic German sourdough bread. Stora Le
Stora Le or Lesjön in Swedish and Store Le in Norwegian is a lake in Dalsland, Sweden, the northern end of which proceeds into Norway and into Värmland, where it continues as Lake Foxen. The lake stretches approximately 70 km (43.5 Mi) from Ed in the south past Nössemark to Töcksfors in the north, on Lake Foxen. It is a narrow lake, rarely measuring more than 2 to 3 km across, apart from a stretch forming part of Lake Foxen, where it reaches a full 5 km. Stora Le and Lake Foxen combined cover 131 km2. This makes Stora Le the 19th largest lake in Sweden. Its greatest depth is 99 metres to the south of Västra FÃ¥gelvik in the Lake Foxen part. The lake system's level has been controlled since 1945 when the level was raised by 6 dm (2 ft) to 102.1 m (335 ft) above sea level. Lake levels are allowed to vary within a 1-metre bandwidth. Kyrksjön
Kyrksjön ( sv, Church Lake) is a small lake in Bromma, a western suburb in Stockholm, Sweden. Named after its vicinity to the old Bromma Church, the lake was made part of the nature reserve Kyrksjölöten in 1997. Three other lakes are located near Kyrksjön: Judarn, Lillsjön, and Råcksta Träsk. Årjäng
Årjäng is a locality and the seat of Årjäng Municipality, Värmland County, Sweden with 3,228 inhabitants in 2010. It is located around from the Norway-Sweden border and on the road between Karlstad and Oslo. In 1540 Årjäng was spelled ''Argenge''. This word has an Old Swedish genitive case of ''å'', meaning river, which refers to the Silbodal river. The morpheme ''genge'' refers to a crossing over the river.
