Gustavo Gómez Córdoba
Gustavo Ernesto Gómez Córdoba (Medellín, 1967) is a Colombian journalist and writer, whose work has been recognized with awards including ''Journalist of the Year'' in 2010. He began working in '' Cromos'' magazine in the 1990s and became prominent as a national radio broadcaster starting in 2005, when he joins the team of 6AM Hoy x Hoy from Caracol Radio. He also writes for ''SoHo magazine'' and another significant media. Career He started law school, but in his 4th year of studies he switched to the social communication program at the Pontifical Xavierian University in Bogotá. One of his first jobs was for ''Cromos'' magazine, where he became general editor; he also worked for ''SoHo'' magazine under the same job for the editions in Colombia, Ecuador and Costa Rica, and currently works as columnist of said magazines. Medellín
Medellín ( or ), officially the Municipality of Medellín ( es, Municipio de Medellín), is the second-largest city in Colombia, after Bogotá, and the capital of the department of Antioquia. Semana
''Semana'' (Spanish: ''Week'') is a weekly magazine in Colombia. History ''Semana'' was founded in 1946 by Alberto Lleras Camargo (who would become president of Colombia in 1958) and that folded in 1961. It was relaunched by journalist Felipe López Caballero in 1983. Development , the person who restarted the magazine, took two earlier Colombian magazines as models. One was Camargo's ''Semana''; the other was '' :es:Alternativa'', a left-wing weekly published by Enrique Santos and Gabriel García Márquez. The foreign magazines that he strove to imitate were ''Time'' and ''Newsweek''. Recalling the prestige that had been enjoyed by Lleras's magazine, López asked for, and was given, permission to use the same name. The first issue came out on 12 May 12 1982. José Yamid Amat Ruiz is a Colombian journalist. His basic education took place at Colegio Salesiano in Tunja. He studied at the Airlie Institute in Virginia, United States. Julio Sánchez Cristo is a Colombian radio personality, born 9 January 1959 in Bogotá. He is best known for his morning news, radioshow and variety show '' La W'', in the Spanish-owned broadcasting station W Radio.
