Guri Schanke
Guri Annika Schanke (; born 14 December 1961) is a Norwegian actress and singer. She is known in Norway for her acting career, and was part of the 2005 round of the Norwegian version of '' Dancing with the Stars'', where she came in second. Career Her debut as an actress came in 1982 on Oslo Nye Teater. Since then she has been part of a number of successful musicals, such as ''Les Misérables'', ''Summer in Tyrol'' and '' Annie Get Your Gun''. She has taken part in a number of TV show and productions, for example the Norwegian TV series '' Hotel Cæsar''. She was married to comedian Øivind Blunck from 1991 to 2010. Every year, between Christmas and New Year's Eve, the Norwegian TV channel NRK airs the televised musical theatre comedy ''The Spanish Fly'' (1990), also starring Guri Schanke and her then future to be husband, Øivind Blunck. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. The municipality of Oslo had a population of in 2022, while the city's greater urban area had a population of in 2019, and the metropolitan area had an estimated population of in 2021. Malta participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song "Vertigo" written by Philip Vella and Gerard James Borg. The song was performed by Olivia Lewis. The Maltese entry for the 2007 contest in Helsinki, Finland was selected through the national final Malta Song for Europe 2007, organised by the Maltese broadcaster Public Broadcasting Services (PBS). Norway In The Eurovision Song Contest
Norway has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 60 times since making its debut in and has only been absent twice since then. In 1970, the country boycotted the contest over disagreements about the voting structure, and in 2002, they were relegated. The contest is broadcast in Norway by NRK, which also broadcasts Norway's national selection competition, Melodi Grand Prix. Christine Guldbrandsen
Christine Guldbrandsen (born 19 March 1985 in Bergen, Norway) is a singer who is best known internationally for being the Norwegian entrant in the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest. She has released three albums in Scandinavia: ''Surfing in the Air'', '' Moments'', and ''Christine''. A new album, ''Colors'', was released on 8 April 2011. She sings mainly in Norwegian, Danish and English. Biography Early life Guldbrandsen began singing in the local church choir at age three; at age 13 she was discovered by Kjetil Fluge. The Eurovision Song Contest 2007 was the 52nd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Helsinki, Finland, following the country's victory at the with the song "Hard Rock Hallelujah" by Lordi. Melodi Grand Prix 2007 (shortened ''MGP 2007'') was the television show in which the Norwegian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 was chosen. Just like in 2006, there were three semifinals held before the final, where televoting decided the top four songs, the top two of which went to the final (in random order), and the songs who were placed 3rd and 4th went to the 'Second Chance' semifinal (also in random order).
