Guilty (The Rasmus Song)
"Guilty" is a song by Finnish alternative rock band The Rasmus, originally released on the band's fifth album ''Dead Letters'' on March 21, 2003. The single was released on 4 August 2004 by the record label Playground Music. It was the last single from the album ''Dead Letters'' and also features the track " First Day of My Life" (live). The UK version features "Guilty" (US radio edit), " Play Dead" and the video of "Guilty". Content The band have said that this song is about how they have neglected their family and friends because of the demanding and time-consuming nature of their job. Music video The music video for "Guilty" was shot in Los Angeles 2004. In the video, The Rasmus are performing in a darkened room, with a photographer taking numerous pictures of different people and the band. The Rasmus
The Rasmus is a Finnish rock band that formed in 1994 in Helsinki while the band members were in upper comprehensive school.Main source of the band's history: The original band members were Lauri Ylönen (lead singer-songwriter), Eero Heinonen (bass), Pauli Rantasalmi (guitar) and Jarno Lahti (drums). Jarno Lahti left the year after and was replaced by Janne Heiskanen in 1995. Heiskanen quit the band in 1999 and was soon replaced by Aki Hakala. Pauli Rantasalmi left the band and was replaced by female guitarist Emilia "Emppu" Suhonen in 2022. Best known for their 2003 hit single " In the Shadows", the band has sold 5 million albums worldwide and approximately 350,000 albums in Finland alone, and has won numerous awards, both domestic and international. ''Dead Letters'' is the fifth album by Finnish band The Rasmus released in 2003. It was released later in 2004 in the US, UK and Australia. Their previous album, '' Into'', had seen some success in some parts of Europe, particularly Scandinavia and Germany, but ''Dead Letters'' signified the band's major break-through.
