''Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3'' (stylized as ''Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3'') is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team Guardians of the Galaxy (2008 team), Guardians of the Galaxy, produced by Marvel Studios, and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is intended to be the sequel to ''Guardians of the Galaxy (film), Guardians of the Galaxy'' (2014) and ''Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2'' (2017), and List of Marvel Cinematic Universe films, the 32nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). James Gunn
James Francis Gunn Jr. (born August 5, 1966) is an American filmmaker and executive. He began his career as a screenwriter in the mid-1990s, starting at Troma Entertainment with ''Tromeo and Juliet'' (1997). He then began working as a director, starting with the horror-comedy film '' Slither'' (2006), and moving to the superhero genre with ''Super'' (2010), ''Guardians of the Galaxy'' (2014), ''Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2'' (2017), '' The Suicide Squad'' (2021), and '' Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3'' (2023). In 2022, Warner Bros. Discovery hired Gunn to become co-chairman and co-CEO of DC Studios. Maria Valcheva Bakalova, . ( ; born 4 June 1996) is a Bulgarian actress. She is the recipient of various accolades, including a Critics' Choice Award, in addition to nominations for an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award, a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award. The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is an American media franchise and shared universe centered on a series of superhero films produced by Marvel Studios.
