Mouloudia Club d'Alger ( ar, نادي مولودية الجزائر), referred to as MC Alger or MCA for short, is an Algerian cycling team that was founded on 2011, as a division of the of MC Alger. History From 2011 to 2020, the team was known as GS Pétroliers as it was part of the multi-sports club with that name. The team's name changed back to MC Alger in 2020. Azzedine Lagab
Azzedine Lagab (born 18 September 1986) is an Algerian road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI Continental team . During his career he won medals in Algerian national championships, in African and Arab cycling championships as well as at the All Africa Games and the Pan-Arab Games. Career 2006–2009 As a youngster, Lagab took part in the Tour de l'Espoir, a stage race within his own country for young and talented riders. He finished in second place in the first stage of this race with the finish line in Bordj Bou Arreridj. It was the start of the career of a cyclist who would become one of the best cyclists in his country. The proof of that already came in the following year when he became second in the individual time trial of the Algerian national road cycling championships. Tour Du Faso
The Tour du Faso is a 10-day road bicycle racing stage race held in Burkina Faso in the late fall. The race is organised by the Amaury Sport Organisation, which also organises the Tour de France, and since 2005, the race has been part of the UCI Africa Tour. The race was first held in 1987 and until 1998 was reserved for amateurs. Since 2005, it is organised as a 2.2 event on the UCI Africa Tour.
