Greta Johnson
Greta Johnson (born May 2, 1977) is an American attorney and politician. Johnson is the former representative of the 35th district of the Ohio House of Representatives, serving from January 2015 to March 2017. Johnson is a former assistant prosecutor for Summit County, who challenged incumbent representative Zack Milkovich in the 2014 Democratic primary. Johnson defeated Milkovich with 54% of the vote and won the general election with 61% of the vote. She held the seat until 2017, when she resigned to work for the Summit County Executive. Education and early career Johnson is from Akron, Ohio. Johnson has a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and a Master of Arts in Higher Education from the University of Akron where she was captain of the women's volleyball team. Ohio House Of Representatives
The Ohio House of Representatives is the lower house of the Ohio General Assembly, the state legislature of the U.S. state of Ohio; the other house of the bicameral legislature being the Ohio Senate. The House of Representatives first met in Chillicothe on March 3, 1803, under the later superseded state constitution of that year. In 1816, the capital was moved to Columbus, where it is located today. Members are limited to four successive two-year elected terms (terms are considered successive if they are separated by less than four years). Time served by appointment to fill out another representative's uncompleted term does not count against the term limit. There are 99 members in the house, elected from single-member districts. Ilene Shapiro (born 1947) is an American businessperson and politician. She has served as the Executive of Summit County, Ohio since August 1, 2016. Her predecessor Russell M. Zack Milkovich is a former member of the Ohio House of Representatives, serving the Thirty-Fifth District from 2011 to 2014 and representing the City of Barberton and portions of Akron, Ohio. He is the current city councilman for Akron's 10th Ward, and also owns a private real estate investment group. Early life The Milkovich family is of Serbian ancestry.
