Greg Westaway
Gregory John Westaway is an Australian businessman and founder of Gregorys Transport, which went into liquidation in 2014. He is a past president of the AFL football club St Kilda. In late 2007 he joined forces with a group of club identities and businesspeople to challenge the board. His board committed the club to relocate its training base and headquarters to Seaford, near Frankston. In May 2007 Westaway came out in support of St Kilda coach Ross Lyon, declaring that he would love to see him coach the club for a decade if possible. Ross Lyon subsequently walked out on St Kilda when contract talks were delayed. The St Kilda Football Club, nicknamed the Saints, is a professional Australian rules football club based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, Victoria. Seaford, Victoria
Seaford is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 36 km south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Frankston local government area. Seaford recorded a population of 17,215 at the . History Seaford was the site of the Karrum Karrum swamp, which was utilised for food by the Bunurong Aboriginal people. In the early twentieth century, after European settlement, the swamp was drained for farming purposes (with wet areas remaining only at low lands; including Seaford and the Edithvale wetlands). The name Seaford arose during a meeting of local residents in 1913, called to decide upon a name for the settlement and the new railway station about to open. Ross Lyon
Ross Lyon (born 8 November 1966) is a former Australian rules football player and the senior coach of the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously coached St Kilda from 2007 to 2011 and the Fremantle Football Club from 2012 to 2019. He played for Fitzroy and the Brisbane Bears from 1985 to 1995. Playing career Fitzroy Lyon began his career with Fitzroy in 1985. After playing the last five games of the season and the first game in 1986 he missed the remainder of the season and most of 1987 due to groin and back injuries that was later diagnosed as spondylolisthesis. He returned to play 19 games in 1988 and ended up playing 127 games over the next ten years until the end of the 1994 season.
