Greg Urbas is a retired head wrestling coach at St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio. Military career From 1973–1977, Urbas was an officer in the United States Marine Corps. Teaching career While at St. Edwards, Urbas was a math teacher. He currently serves as a math tutor. Coaching career Urbas was head coach at St. Edward for 29 years where he won 24 state titles and 4 national titles. In 1998, Urbas was named national wrestling coach of the year by the National High School Coaches Association. Lakewood is a city in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States, on the southern shore of Lake Erie. Ryan Bertin
Ryan Bertin (born November 13, 1981) is an American folkstyle wrestler. He competed for the University of Michigan, and won NCAA Division I wrestling titles at 157 pounds in 2003 and 2005. Early life He is the son of Laurie and Chris Bertin, who wrestled for the University of Cincinnati (1973–74). He attended St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio, and was also a high school national champion. He finished with a career record of 140-18 and was coached by Greg Urbas. Roger Chandler is a former wrestler and current head coach of the Michigan State Spartans wrestling team. Wrestling career High school career Chandler was an OHSAA state champion in 1992 for St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio, while wrestling for Greg Urbas. Dean Heil is a former folkstyle wrestler from Brunswick, Ohio. Heil wrestled collegiately at Oklahoma State, where he was a three-time All-American and two-time NCAA champion. Chris Honeycutt (born July 25, 1988) is an American mixed martial artist who formerly fought in Bellator's Middleweight division. Background Born in Brook Park, Ohio, Honeycutt began wrestling at the age of four. Honeycutt attended North Andover High School in Massachusetts for two years before moving and transferring schools to St. Edward High School in Ohio, being coached by Greg Urbas.
