Greg Hutchison
Greg Hutchison (born 13 June 1957) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with and coached Melbourne Football Club, Melbourne in the Australian Football League, AFL. Playing career Melbourne Football Club Originally from Chelsea Football Club, Hutchinson made his senior VFL debut in 1975 VFL season, 1975 for the Melbourne Football Club and appeared sporadically for the Demons until the early 1980s. Much of his football was played in the reserves but he managed 96 senior games, as a utility. Coaching career From 1986 to 1989, Hutchison coached in the VFA with Prahran Football Club, Prahran, steering them to the 1987 second division premiership. Victorian Amateur Football Association
The Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) is the largest senior community Australian rules football competition in Victoria. It consists of seven senior men's and women's divisions ranging from Premier to Division 4. In addition there are U19's sections and five Thirds sections, primarily made up of either clubs only able to field one team, or clubs from higher sections that can field a third team after their seniors and reserves. The league operates a double promotion and relegation system between sections with various rules dictating which section clubs can play in. Australian football, also called Australian rules football or Aussie rules, or more simply football or footy, is a contact sport played between two teams of 18 players on an oval field, often a modified cricket ground. Ross Lyon
Ross Lyon (born 8 November 1966) is a former Australian rules football player and the senior coach of the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously coached St Kilda from 2007 to 2011 and the Fremantle Football Club from 2012 to 2019. He played for Fitzroy and the Brisbane Bears from 1985 to 1995. Playing career Fitzroy Lyon began his career with Fitzroy in 1985. After playing the last five games of the season and the first game in 1986 he missed the remainder of the season and most of 1987 due to groin and back injuries that was later diagnosed as spondylolisthesis. He returned to play 19 games in 1988 and ended up playing 127 games over the next ten years until the end of the 1994 season.
