Greenwheel Albums
Greenwheel was an American alternative rock band formed by friends Ryan Jordan, Brandon Armstrong, Andrew Dwiggins, Douglas Randall, and Marc Wanninger in November 1998. The band was formed in St. Charles, Missouri, in a local record shop. This group of high school bandmates were originally called Hindsight before changing their name to Soma Holiday. They released a self-titled album that same year which garnered them local attention. After this brief period, they went underground, performing only occasionally. Major label success One night at a local club, vocalist Ryan Jordan passed a copy of their self-produced CD to producer Malcolm Springer. Springer was impressed by the album and took the band to Memphis, Tennessee for pre-production work on a four-track demo CD that he later recorded with the band in Nashville, Tennessee. Alternative Rock
Alternative rock, or alt-rock, is a category of rock music that emerged from the independent music underground of the 1970s and became widely popular in the 1990s. ''Lucky'' is the eighth album by singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge, released in 2004. Lucky made a debut on Billboard chart at No. 15 with almost 92,000 copies sold. "Tuesday Morning" is dedicated to the memory of Mark Bingham, his family and friends, paying tribute to all the heroes of 9/11. Alternative Addiction
Alternative Addiction was an American daily Internet publication devoted to music criticism and commentary, music news, and artist interviews. Its focus was on Alternative rock. It was in operation from 1999 to 2020. History The website was originally created in 1999 by editor-in-chief Chad Durkee. The site concentrated on new music, but its journalists also reviewed reissued albums and box sets. It had also begun garnering a following for its extensive coverage of underground music. Family Arena
The Family Arena is a multi-purpose arena in St. Charles, Missouri, built in 1999. The arena seats 9,643 for hockey, 9,755 for football, 10,467 for basketball, 6,339 for half-house concerts and up to 11,522 for end-stage concerts. In addition to sporting events, concerts, circuses and ice shows the arena is also used for trade shows with a total of of exhibit space ( on the arena floor and on the arena concourse). Currently it is home to the St. Louis Ambush of the Major Arena Soccer League. The Family Arena hosted Boeing Integrated Defense Systems' "Recommitment to Ethics Day" in 2005 and 2006 for Greater St. Louis. Until Chaifetz Arena opened in 2008, Family Arena was the St. Louis stop for the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus, Disney on Ice and Champions on Ice. In popular music, a cover version, cover song, remake, revival, or simply cover, is a new performance or recording by a musician other than the original performer or composer of the song. Originally, it referred to a version of a song released around the same time as the original in order to compete with it. Now, it refers to any subsequent version performed after the original.
