Greek Women's Basketball Cup
The Greek Women's Basketball Cup is the national women's basketball cup competition of Greece. It began with the 1995–96 season, and it is organised by the Hellenic Basketball Federation (EOK). So far, eleven clubs have won the cup. Most of them are based in the Athens Urban Area. Olympiacos Piraeus is based in Piraeus Urban Area and Apollon Kalamarias is based in Kalamaria, in the Thessaloniki Urban Area. PAO Thriamvos Athinon ( el, ΠΑΟ Θρίαμβος Αθηνών) is a Greek sport club based in Athens. It was founded in 1930, originally under the name Mikrasiatiki Athens and later Doxa Athens. It has departments in football, basketball and handball. The club is based in the neighbourhood of Athens, Neos Kosmos. Panionios G.S.S. Football Club (Greek: ΠΑΕ Πανιώνιος Γ.Σ.Σ.), the ''Pan-Ionian Gymnastics Club of Smyrna'' (Πανιώνιος Γυμναστικός Σύλλογος Σμύρνης, ''Panionios Gymnastikos Syllogos Smyrnis''), more commonly known as Panionios F.C. or simply Panionios, is a Greek amateur football club based in Nea Smyrni, Athens, Greece. Athinaikos Women's Basketball
Athinaikos women's basketball is the women's professional basketball team of the Athens-based multi-sports club Athinaikos, that was founded in 1917. The team competes in the Greek Women's Basketball League. History Athinaikos has starred in the women's Greek League championship during recent years, winning four consecutive championships, and three consecutive women's Greek Cups. From 2008 to 2012, Athinaikos dominated exclusively, breaking the record of consecutive wins in the Greek League (105 wins). The success of Athinaikos entered the Guinness book of records.
