''Greatest Hits'' is the first compilation album by R&B singer, Joe. It was released by Jive Records on October 13, 2008 in the United Kingdom and October 14 in the United States, completing his contract with the label. Critical reception AllMusic editor Andy Kellman rated the album four and a half stars out of five. He wrote: "While each of the albums from this phase of Joe's career has strong cuts that were not released as singles, this set is ideal for casual fans" and calle "Beautiful" one "of his sweeter tracks, but it's not up to the standard of his best-known material." Commercial performance In the United States, the album debuted and peaked at number 12 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Elsewhere, ''Greatest Hits'' failed to chart noticeably, only reaching number 125 on the US ''Billboard'' 200. Joe (singer)
Joseph Lewis Thomas (born July 5, 1972), known mononymously as Joe, is an American R&B singer-songwriter and record producer. Born and raised in Ashburn, Georgia, he later relocated to Atlanta and signed a record deal with Polygram Records in 1992. He rose to prominence after releasing his debut album ''Everything'' the following year. He followed it with a series of successful albums under Jive Records, including '' All That I Am'' (1997), the international bestseller ''My Name Is Joe'' (2000) as well as the multi-certified albums '' Better Days'' (2001) and '' And Then...'' David Darnell Brown (born March 15, 1981), best known by his stage name Young Buck, is an American rapper. He heads his own record label, Cashville, and was a member of the former hip hop group G-Unit. Early life Brown was born in Nashville, Tennessee. Around the age of 12, he began rapping. A few years later, he performed for Brian "Baby" Williams, co-founder of Cash Money. Music career Young Buck joined Cash Money in 1997 but left for Juvenile's UTP in 2000. Trevant Hardson (born October 5, 1970), best known by his stage name Slimkid3 (Slim Kid Tre; sometimes stylized as SlimKid3), is an American rapper from Los Angeles. He is a founding member of The Pharcyde. Career Tre Hardson began his career in the entertainment industry as a dancer and choreographer under the moniker Two for Two with his two high school friends Bootie Brown and Imani.
