Granite
Granite () is a coarse-grained (phaneritic) intrusive igneous rock composed mostly of quartz, alkali feldspar, and plagioclase. It forms from magma with a high content of silica and alkali metal oxides that slowly cools and solidifies underground. It is common in the continental crust of Earth, where it is found in igneous intrusions. These range in size from dikes only a few centimeters across to batholiths exposed over hundreds of square kilometers. Granite is typical of a larger family of ''granitic rocks'', or ''granitoids'', that are composed mostly of coarse-grained quartz and feldspars in varying proportions. These rocks are classified by the relative percentages of quartz, alkali feldspar, and plagioclase (the QAPF classification), with true granite representing granitic rocks rich in quartz and alkali feldspar. Grebbestad Bryggeri is a brewery in the town Grebbestad on the Swedish west coast. It is a relatively small and local brewery producing their products mainly for the use of the local county Bohuslän. Their main production are in two lager beers called Koster and Granit, but other brews occur as well. Beers, the Grebbestad brand Koster is a lager beer with 3,5% alcohol and is available for purchase mostly in local supermarkets. The name comes from the local islands of Koster. Granit (Swedish for Granite) is a lager beer . It is sold in local supermarkets at 3,5% alcohol and at 4,8% at Systembolaget. Le Granit (''Granite'') is a regional county municipality in the Estrie region of eastern Quebec, Canada. Granit (in Bulgarian: Гранит) is a village in southern Bulgaria, Bratya Daskalovi municipality, Stara Zagora Province. The village is famous for the oldest tree in Bulgaria and one of the most ancient in the world, the Granit Oak (Quercus robur), estimated to be about 1,700 years old. It was formed in 1945 upon the merger of two villages, Golobradovo and Skobelovo. In 1989 its population was 1103, while this number declined to 665 in December 2017. The 2ES10 is a twin section (Bo'Bo)(Bo'Bo') freight locomotive manufactured from 2010 by Ural Locomotives. RZD ordered 221 units in 2010. Ukrainian Railways ordered 50 units in 2013. History and design The 2ES10 is a two unit 8 axle electric freight locomotive manufactured for RZD by Ural Locomotives, a joint venture between Sinara Group of Russia (base platform and auxiliary equipment) and Siemens of Germany (traction electrical equipment). The 2ES10 offers double the power output of VL11 locomotives, with lower operating and maintenance costs. During trials in August 2010, a three-section 2ES10 hauled a train across the Urals.
