Granada Breeze was a lifestyle channel operated by ITV Digital Channels Ltd, Granada Sky Broadcasting, a joint venture between Granada Television and British Sky Broadcasting. The channel was launched as Granada Good Life on 1 October 1996. Programming It was aimed at female viewers and showed programmes on lifestyle, cookery, health as well as U.S. daytime television shows such as ''Judge Joe Brown''. The channel was rebranded as Granada Breeze on 1 May 1998. It is usually remembered for paranormal shows such as ''Psychic Livetime'' and ''Predictions With Derek Acorah''; these programmes have not been shown on TV since Breeze's closure. Men & Motors was a men's lifestyle television channel in the UK. It was the last remaining station operated by the former Granada Sky Broadcasting joint venture, set up by Granada Television (now part of ITV plc) and satellite broadcaster British Sky Broadcasting in 1996. Sky Witness is a British pay television channel owned and operated by Sky, a division of Comcast. The channel primarily broadcasts drama shows from the United States, aimed at the 18–45 age group. Yvette Paula Fielding (born 23 September 1968) is an English television presenter, producer and actress. A test card, also known as a test pattern or start-up/closedown test, is a television test signal, typically broadcast at times when the transmitter is active but no program is being broadcast (often at sign-on and sign-off). Used since the earliest TV broadcasts, test cards were originally physical cards at which a television camera was pointed, allowing for simple adjustments of picture quality. Such cards are still often used for calibration, alignment, and matching of cameras and camcorders. Susan Brookes ( née Walton, born c.1943–44), is an English television chef, broadcaster and writer. During the 1980s and 1990s, she regularly appeared on the ITV daytime magazine show ''This Morning'', cooking recipes for viewers as the programme's resident chef. Early life and education Brookes was born in Settle, then part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, and grew up in nearby Langcliffe (both areas are now in North Yorkshire) as the middle child of eight siblings, with seven brothers. ITV Digital was a British digital terrestrial television broadcaster which launched a pay-TV service on the world's first digital terrestrial television network. Its main shareholders were Carlton Communications plc and Granada plc, owners of two franchises of the ITV network.
