Writing

During the 8th series of Most Haunted, Yvette released the first of 2 books with Most Haunted's then parapsychologist, Dr Ciaran O'Keeffe entitled Ghost Hunters: A Guide to Investigating the Paranormal. The book was published by Hodder & Stoughton in July 2006. Fielding and O'Keeffe released a follow up in August 2008 called In Search of the Supernatural, also published by Hodder & Stoughton. In September 2019 Yvette released her first novel, Archie the Ghost Hunter and the Rising. Published by Rudling House, Fielding's husband, Karl Beattie also provided illustrations for the book. In September 2021, Anderson Press published the first book in Yvette's new series of books, The Ghost Hunter Chronicles, following tales of three friends, Eve, Tom and Clovis. The first book in the series was titled The House in the Woods. The second book in the series, The Ripper of Whitechapel, again published by Anderson Press, was released in September 2022.
