Gramophone (film)
''Gramophone'' is a 2003 Indian Malayalam-language romantic comedy drama film directed by Kamal and written by Iqbal Kuttippuram, starring Dileep, Meera Jasmine and Navya Nair. The music was composed by Vidyasagar. The movie has two climaxes. Since the filmmakers think that the sad ending of the movie is the reason for its bad performance in box office, Kamal changed the climax to a happy ending to satisfy audience. Even after the change of climax, the movie did not achieve success commercially. Plot Sachidanandan, is a very hard working person. He runs an antique shop, with his father's close friend, Pattu Set, but has many side businesses as well and is a man of principles. He is the son of famous singer Ravindranath, who was unsuccessful in his career, as he was cheated by one of his students named Arya Devi, who became a successful singer by plagiarizing Ravindranath's composition. Kamal (director)
Kamaluddin Mohammed Majeed, mononymously known as Kamal, is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer. He works in Malayalam cinema. He was the former Chairman of Kerala State Chalachitra Academy. Kamal made his directorial debut with the 1986 film ''Mizhineerppoovukal''.
