Graham Stokoe
Graham Lloyd Stokoe (born 17 December 1975) is an English former footballer who played in the Football League for Hartlepool United and Stoke City. Career Stokoe was born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and began his career with Newcastle United before joining Stoke City in 1995. He struggled to settle in the area and moved back up north to Hartlepool United where he played eight matches in 1995–96. He made two substitute appearances for Stoke in 1996–97 both away at Portsmouth and then Huddersfield Town. He left in 1998 and made a return to Hartlepool United playing 23 matches for Mick Tait's side in 1998–99. He later played for non-league Blyth Spartans. Career statistics Source: :A. Overview Premier League Manchester United overcame close competition from Arsenal and Chelsea to win their fifth Premiership title in seven seasons. They went on to win the treble of the Premiership title, FA Cup and European Cup, an achievement which gained manager Alex Ferguson a knighthood. The Football League Third Division was the third tier of the English football league system in 1920–21 and again from 1958 until 1992. Football League First Division
The Football League First Division was a division of the Football League in England from 1888 until 2004. It was the top division in the English football league system from the season 1888–89 until 1991–92, a century in which the First Division's winning club became English men's football champions. The First Division contained between 12 and 24 clubs, playing each other home and away in a double round robin. The competition was based on two points for a win from 1888 until the increase to three points for a win in 1981. Mick Tait
Michael Paul Tait (born 30 September 1956) is an English former footballer and later a manager at the end of his playing career. His 760 league games puts him 13th in the list of English footballers. His clubs were Oxford United, Carlisle United, Hull City, Portsmouth, Reading, Darlington and Hartlepool United as well as Gretna in Scotland. Tait also later managed two of these clubs; Darlington and Hartlepool United. In 2012 he became a scout for Newcastle United. Playing career Tait started his career as an apprentice at Oxford scoring 23 goals in 64 league appearances before moving on to Carlisle for £65,000 in 1977.
