Gracias Por Estar Aquí ( Eng.: "Thank You For Being Here") is the tenth studio album by Mexican singer-songwriter Marco Antonio Solís. It was released by Universal Music Latino on October 22, 2013 (see 2013 in music). ''Gracias Por Estar Aquí'' reached number one on the ''Billboard'' Top Latin Albums chart in the United States. Two singles were released from the album: " Tres Semanas" and " De Mil Amores". The album earned a Grammy nomination for Best Latin Pop Album at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards, a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album, and a Premio Lo Nuestro nomination for Pop Album of the Year at Premio Lo Nuestro 2015. Marco Antonio Solís
Marco Antonio Solís Sosa (born 29 December 1959) is a Mexican musician, singer, composer, and record producer. Born and raised in Ario de Rosales, Michoacán, Solís began his musical career at the age of six, performing part of Los Hermanitos Solís. In 1975 he co-founded Los Bukis, of which he was the lead vocalist and guitarist. The band split up after nearly two decades of success, with Solís pursuing a solo career. Solís released his first solo album, '' En Pleno Vuelo'' in 1996 by Fonovisa Records. Solís has been awarded five Latin Grammy Awards, two Lo Nuestro Awards, has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and has been inducted into the Billboard Latin Music Hall of Fame. The Lo Nuestro Award for Pop Song of the Year is an honor presented annually by American television network Univision at the Lo Nuestro Awards. The accolade was established to recognize the most talented performers of Latin music. Wisin & Yandel is a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo consisting of Wisin and Yandel. Descemer Bueno (born July 5, 1971) is a Cuban singer, songwriter, and record producer. His first professional gigs were playing bass with Cuban troubadour Santiago Feliú. Early career Bueno studied music and became a music teacher before forming the jazz combo band Estado de Animo in 1990, which also included guitarist Elmer Ferrer and pianist Roberto Carcassés. His band toured Spain, Bolivia, Uruguay, Germany, and Argentina in the 1990s. Descemer also performed in the United States in 1998 with the jazz ensemble Column B.
