The Goya Award for Best Fictional Short Film ( es, Premio Goya a la mejor cortometraje de ficción) is one of the Goya Awards, Spain's principal national film awards. From 1989 to 1991 there was only one award for short films under the name ''Best Short Film'' ("Mejor cortometraje"), since 1992 it has been presented under its current for fictional short films. The short films ''Esposados'' (1996), '' That Wasn't Me'' (2012), ''Timecode'' (2016) and ''Mother'' (2017) have received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film. Goya Awards
The Goya Awards ( es, Premios Goya) are Spain's main national annual film awards, commonly referred to as the Academy Awards of Spain. The awards were established in 1987, a year after the founding of the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences, and the first awards ceremony took place on March 16, 1987 at the Teatro Lope de Vega, Madrid. The ceremony continues to take place annually at Centro de Congresos Príncipe Felipe, around the end of January/beginning of February, and awards are given to films produced during the previous year. The award itself is a small bronze bust of Francisco Goya created by the sculptor José Luis Fernández, although the original sculpture for the first edition of the Goyas was by Miguel Ortiz Berrocal. Achero Mañas (born Achero Mañas Amyach, 5 September 1966) is a Spanish film director and former actor. He made three successful short films before winning recognition and several awards for his feature film debut '' El Bola''. Biography Mañas was born in Madrid to actress Paloma Lorena and playwright Alfredo Mañas. Growing up in the neighbourhoods of Carabanchel and Estrella, he was surrounded and influenced by theatre, literature, and art from an early age, and this guided his academic pursuits and eventual career. Judith Colell
Judith Colell i Pallarès (Barcelona, July 14, 1968) is a Catalan film director, screenwriter and producer. Since July 2021 she has been president of the Catalan Film Academy. Biography Colell was awarded a degree in art history at the University of Barcelona. Afterwards she got a certificate in film from the New York University. Miguel Bardem (born 1964) is a Spanish film director and screenwriter. Life Bardem comes from a well-known family of actors. Javier Fesser Pérez de Petinto (Madrid, born 15 February 1964) is a Spanish film director and publicist.
