Government Post Graduate College, Hisar is a public funded college located in Hisar in the Indian state of Haryana for fodder research and training.[] Location It lies on Hisar- rajgarh road to the east of the college. To the north is Mahabir Stadium. History In 1950, the college was established at a rented building on the Railway road shared by the ''Punjab Veterinary College'' which was later moved to the Government Livestock Farm, Hisar in 1961 and eventually became part of the CCS HAU later and is currently part of the Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (LUVAS). In 1976, the govt college moved to its current 49-acre site located on Rajgarh road, where the newly constructed 5 blocks buildings cost INR 5,000,000 at that time. Hisar is a city, municipal corporation and administrative headquarters of Hisar district of Hisar division in the state of Haryana in northwestern India. Mahabir Stadium
Mahavir Stadium, built in 1972, is a multipurpose sports complex located in Hisar city of Haryana, India. It has second largest capacity in Haryana, after the Shah Satnam Ji Cricket Stadium in Sirsa which has a higher capacity of 35,000 spectators. It is owned and operated by the District Olympic Association of Hisar. The venue is used for several events, such as cricket and football. In athletics, at least 40 national and 6 international athletes are from Hisar. In handball, at least 20 players from hisar have represented India at international level, among them at least 6 are from Ladwa. Though Hisar has produced large number of national and international players, and there at 4 universities and 31 degree colleges, there are no institutes offering courses such as B.P.Ed and M.P.Ed to develop sports coaches.

Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (LUVAS) is a university located in Hisar, Haryana. It is named after the freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai. Pranpir Badshah Tomb
Pranpir Badshah's tomb ( hi, बाबा प्राणपिर बादशाह) is a 14th-century tomb, built from white material, near Mahabir Stadium in Hisar city of Haryana state in India. Location The tomb is located next to the Panchayat bhawan, within the compound of Government college Hisar, next to Mahabir Stadium. History This is the tomb of Baba Pranpir Badshah, the spiritual teacher of Sher Bahlol or Dana Sher. Sher Bahlol was also a spiritual teacher who foretold that Ghiyas-ud-din-Tughluq (c. 1320-25 AD) would become the king of Delhi sultanate. Architecture Tomb is built on a raised platform, it built using dressed white kankar stones blocks to a certain height, top of the tomb is built using lakhauri bricks, all four sides have arched gates.
