Government Of President Khajimba
The Government of President Raul Khajimba was the Government of the Republic of Abkhazia from 2014 until 2020. Composition Formation President Raul Khajimba and Vice President Vitali Gabnia were elected on 24 August 2014 after the resignation of previous President Alexander Ankvab, and sworn in on 25 September 2014. Khajimba had led the opposition during the May Revolution against Ankvab. After Ankvab's resignation on 1 June, Speaker of the People's Assembly of Abkhazia Valeri Bganba had been Acting President. During the election, Khajimba competed with State Security Service chairman Aslan Bzhania, Defence Minister Mirab Kishmaria and former Interior Minister Leonid Dzapshba. Shamil Adzynba ( ab, Шамиль Аӡынба, ka, შამილ აძინბა; born 21 May 1970) is the current First Vice Premier of Abkhazia in the Government of President Khajimba, and a two-time acting Prime Minister. August 2011 Presidential election A presidential election was originally scheduled to take place in 2014, however, the Constitution of Abkhazia required an election to be held within three months after the unexpected death of incumbent president Sergei Bagapsh on 29 May 2011. Astamur Anton-ipa Adleiba ( ab, Асҭамыр Антон-иҧа Адлеиба, ka, ასტამურ ადლეიბა) is a former Minister of Youth, Sports, Tourism and Resorts of Abkhazia and a former mayor of Abkhazia's capital Sukhumi. Aslan Kobakhia is one of three current Vice Premiers and the current Minister for Internal Affairs of Abkhazia. Early life and education Aslan Kobakhia was born on 23 March 1960 in Lykhny, Gudauta District. Between 1981 and 1985 he studied at the Economics Faculty of the Abkhazian State University. Beslan Eshba is a vice premier of Abkhazia and the head of a sociopolitical organization Apsadgyl ( ab, Апсадгьыл). Prior to his current position, he was a deputy commander in the Sukhumi battalion and an advisor to the President of Abkhazia. Early life Beslan was born on 23 December 1967. Dmitri Serikov is a Vice Premier and the Minister for Finance of Abkhazia. Early life, education and career (until 2015) Serikov was born on 29 November 1976 in Moscow. In 2000 he graduated from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, and in 2002, from the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
