Gothicmade
is a Japanese sci-fi/mecha anime film directed by Mamoru Nagano. The film debut in Japan on November 1, 2012. The lore of ''The Five Star Stories'' was retconned starting with volume 13 onwards to better match the movie lore. Plot Gothicmade describes a world, that consists of little colonies, named Carmine. In this world, Songstresses are powerful young women who inherit the memories and knowledge of those who came before them. They then pursue the goal of liberating the populace suffering under the corrupt and ruling interplanetary league. Mamoru Nagano
is a Japanese manga artist, animator, and mecha and character designer. Born in Maizuru, Kyoto Prefecture, he is noted for his work with anime studio Sunrise. He is married to voice actress Maria Kawamura. Career Mamoru Nagano made his professional debut in 1984 working with Yoshiyuki Tomino on the TV series ''Heavy Metal L-Gaim''. ''Fool for the City'', his first manga, came out in 1985 but it was 1986 that brought ''The Five Star Stories'', which is still in production today. Nagano founded Toys Press, Inc. to publish much of his work. His work in ''Heavy Metal L-Gaim'' introducing mecha with armor plates that appeared to fit loosely over an internal skeleton. These detailed and somewhat plausible designs sparked a fresh wave of designs in mecha anime. Nozomu Sasaki
is a Japanese voice actor and singer. He is represented by the voice actor management firm, 81 Produce, and was previously represented by Arts Vision. In 1988, he voiced the character Tetsuo Shima in the movie '' Akira'', which was adapted from the manga of the same name. He also provided the voice of Yusuke Urameshi in the anime adaptation of the manga ''YuYu Hakusho'' and returned to that role in video games for that franchise. He is sometimes mistaken for fellow voice actress Nozomi Sasaki, whose name is written the same way. Sasaki has emerged the victor of the Seiyū Grand Prix (in which votes were collected to compile a top ten list of voice actors) more times than any other voice actor. The Five Star Stories
is a mecha manga series created by Mamoru Nagano, building on his work on the anime series ''Heavy Metal L-Gaim''. The story takes place cluster of four major planetary systems.
