Gordy
''Gordy'' is a 1994 American family comedy-drama film directed by Mark Lewis, about a livestock piglet named Gordy who searches for his missing family (who are taken away to a slaughterhouse in Omaha, Nebraska). He experiences the lives of others who are part of the film's side plots, including traveling country music singers Luke McAllister and his daughter, Jinnie Sue; and lonely boy Hanky Royce whose mother, Jessica, is engaged to a sinister businessman named Gilbert Sipes. Gordy changes lives for the people he encounters due to their ability to understand him. The film was distributed by Miramax Films under their Miramax Family Films imprint. Sybil Ann Robson Orr (born 1962) is an American film producer. She is a niece of Walmart founder Sam Walton and Helen Walton, and the founder of Robson Orr Entertainment. Early life and career Sybil Robson Orr was born in 1962 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Alma (née White) and Nick Robson. Dick Chevillat
Dick Chevillat (December 31, 1905 – May 10, 1984) was an American writer and producer who worked in radio, film, and television. Early in his career, Chevillat wrote for ''The Jack Benny Program'' and for the Marx Brothers, and then for Sealtest-sponsored radio programs '' The Rudy Vallée Show'' and ''The Joan Davis Show,'' on which he was teamed with Ray Singer (writer). With Singer he would write for many programs, including ''The Phil Harris-Alice Faye Show'', on which they refined the characters of Phil Harris and Frank Remley. Alice Faye reportedly broke her arm in a game of charades at Chevillat's Encino home in 1947. Doug Stone (born Douglas Jackson Brooks; June 19, 1956) is an American country music singer and actor. He debuted in 1990 with the single "I'd Be Better Off (In a Pine Box)", the first release from his 1990 self-titled debut album for Epic Records. Both this album and its successor, 1991's '' I Thought It Was You'', earned a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. Hamilton Camp (Born Robin S. Camp, 30 October 1934 – 2 October 2005) was a London-born actor and singer, who relocated to the United States with his family when he was a young child. He became an American folk singer during he 1960s, and eventually branched out into acting in films and television.
