Gordon Cunningham
Gordon Cunningham (commonly referred to as Mr. C) is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Bernard Latham. He first appeared in March 1996, and departed on 16 February 2004 when he died of a heart attack following a car accident. He last appeared for a brief return on 11 July 2008 during a dream sequence broadcast on T4. Storylines Gordon begins to comfort his daughter Dawn when she struggles to fend off the advances of her mother's new boyfriend, Terry Williams . Gordon tries to help his ex-wife, Angela overcome her crippling debts and tries to inject some discipline into the lives of their wayward children. Phil Redmond
Sir Philip Redmond (born 10 June 1949) is an English television producer and screenwriter from Huyton, England. He is known for creating the television series ''Grange Hill'', ''Brookside'' and ''Hollyoaks''. Early life Redmond took the 11-plus and passed, but attended St Kevin's RC School in Northwood, Kirkby (it became All Saints Catholic High School, Kirkby). His mother was a cleaner and his father was a bus driver. He left school with four O-levels and one A-level and trained to become a quantity surveyor. He studied Sociology at the University of Liverpool. Career Redmond wrote episodes for the ITV sitcom ''Doctor in Charge'' and children's series ''The Kids from 47A''. Holly Cunningham
Holly Cunningham (also Hutchinson and Roscoe) is a fictional character from the long-running Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', most recently portrayed by Amanda Clapham. Holly's first on-screen appearance aired on 22 December 1997, which was her birth set on Christmas Day, before departing in 2000. Holly made further appearances in 2002 and later in 2004, played by Karis Sharkey and Katie Hynes respectively. In 2008, Holly returned to the serial played by Lydia Waters. Leukemia ( also spelled leukaemia and pronounced ) is a group of blood cancers that usually begin in the bone marrow and result in high numbers of abnormal blood cells. These blood cells are not fully developed and are called ''blasts'' or ''leukemia cells''. Symptoms may include bleeding and bruising, bone pain, fatigue, fever, and an increased risk of infections. T4 (Channel 4)
''T4'' was a scheduling slot on Channel 4 (''T4 Saturday'' usually 9 am until 2 pm) and E4 (''T4 Sunday'' usually 9 am until 5 pm). It also aired on weekdays in the school holidays. The slot had a separate station identification on screen graphic from Channel 4 and E4. Channel 4 originally produced the strand in-house until 2002, when production was passed onto independent companies. The slot was targeted at the 16-24 age group. Until 25 March 2012, ''T4'' aired on Channel 4 both Saturday and Sunday. To make way for the introduction of ''Sunday Brunch'' in March 2012, ''T4 Sunday'' was later moved to run on E4. ''T4 Saturday'' remained on Channel 4 and some programmes that previously appeared within the ''T4'' block, such as ''The Simpsons'', remained on Channel 4 on Sunday afternoons. Myocardial Infarction
A myocardial infarction (MI), commonly known as a heart attack, occurs when blood flow decreases or stops to the coronary artery of the heart, causing damage to the heart muscle. The most common symptom is chest pain or discomfort which may travel into the shoulder, arm, back, neck or jaw. Often it occurs in the center or left side of the chest and lasts for more than a few minutes. The discomfort may occasionally feel like heartburn. Other symptoms may include shortness of breath, nausea, feeling faint, a cold sweat or feeling tired. About 30% of people have atypical symptoms. Women more often present without chest pain and instead have neck pain, arm pain or feel tired. Among those over 75 years old, about 5% have had an MI with little or no history of symptoms.
