Goran Jagodnik
Goran Jagodnik (born 23 May 1974) is a Slovenian former professional basketball player. Professional career During his journeyman career, Jagodnik played for numerous clubs in several countries, most notably with Polish team Prokom Trefl Sopot (four seasons) and Serbian team Hemofarm (two seasons). In his homeland, Jagodnik played with Hopsi Polzela and Union Olimpija. On 3 March 2015, Union Olimpija announced that he had joined the club for training sessions, with an option of signing a deal until the rest of the season. Two days after that, he was added to the team's Adriatic League roster. Slovenian national team Jagodnik was a long-time member of the Slovenian national team, making his debut at EuroBasket 1997. He played at five more European Championships (1999, 2001, 2007, 2009 and 2011), as well as at the 2010 FIBA World Championship. Slovenia Men's National Basketball Team
The Slovenia men's national basketball team ( sl, Slovenska košarkarska reprezentanca) represents Slovenia in international basketball competitions, and is managed by the Basketball Federation of Slovenia. Since the independence of Slovenia in 1991, the national team has competed at every EuroBasket, and reached the knockout stage at every championship since 2005. Košarkarski klub Olimpija ( en, Olimpija Basketball Club) was a men's professional basketball club based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Olimpija has won 23 National League championships, including eight consecutive titles between 1992 and 1999. ABA Liga
The ABA League, renamed to the ABA League First Division in 2017, is the 1st-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from the former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia). Due to sponsorship reasons, the league was also known as the Goodyear League from 2001 to 2006, the NLB League from 2006 to 2011, and as the AdmiralBet ABA League from 2021.
