''Gopher Dunes'' is a dirt track near the community of Courtland in Norfolk County, Ontario, Canada. Many of its sponsors are either locally based companies or local franchises of popular restaurants like ''Wendy's'' and '' Kelsey's Neighbourhood Bar & Grill''. Summary The track is internationally renowned for being one of the toughest tracks which require conditioning. There are of trails in addition to a child-oriented track that is much shorter - all strategically places on of land. The kiddie (referred to on the official web site as ''pee-wee'') track can only be attempted by motorbikes up to 125cc (e.g., Suzuki DR-Z 125) and quads up to 110cc. Dirt bikes can commonly be seen on the track as recreational biking is encouraged along with organized racing. Rider training is also provided along with memberships. Norfolk County in the Canadian province of Ontario consists of a long list of communities. Its four designated population centres are Simcoe, Port Dover, Delhi, and Waterford. The ''Simcoe Reformer'' is a newspaper circulating in Norfolk County, Ontario and Haldimand County, Ontario, both in Canada. The ''Reformer'' is published weekdays. History In 1858, Dr William H. Oliver, who had written for and edited a number of periodicals in the early 1800s, established a weekly newspaper called ''The Erie News'' in Simcoe. After publishing for three years, the newspaper was sold to William Buckingham in 1861, who renamed it ''The Norfolk Reformer''. Buckingham edited the paper for 18 months under the motto, "The Price of Freedom is Eternal Vigilance".
