''Gold'' is an 2022 Indian Malayalam-language crime comedy film written, edited, and directed by Alphonse Puthren. It was jointly produced by Supriya Menon of Prithviraj Productions and Listin Stephen of Magic Frames. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara, along with a supporting cast of Mallika Sukumaran, Shammi Thilakan, Lalu Alex, Baburaj, Ajmal Ameer, Shanthi Krishna, Jagadish, Krishna Sankar, Roshan Mathew, Vinay Forrt, and Saiju Kurup. Alphonse Puthren
Alphonse Puthren is an Indian film director, producer, actor, editor, writer, and ad film maker. He works mainly in the Malayalam Cinema. He made his directional debut with the critically acclaimed Malayalam - Tamil bilingual suspense-thriller ''Neram'' (2013). His second film was the sensational blockbuster coming-of-age romantic film ''Premam'' (2015). Shanthi Krishna is an Indian actress known for her leading roles in Malayalam and Tamil films. Onam ( ) is an annual Indian harvest festival celebrated predominantly by the Hindus of Kerala.
