''Going! Going! Gone!'' is a 1919 American short comedy film featuring Harold Lloyd. Although this film is presumed lost, versions with French intertitles have been posted on YouTube. Plot A group of young ladies are wading in a creek. A crab latches onto the foot of one of them. The other girls, including Miss Goulash, see Harold and Snub who helpfully free the girl from the crab's clutches. Harold and Snub ride off on their tandem bicycle. Two crooks steal a sack of cash from a railroad station and take a car as an escape vehicle. When the car stalls, the crooks enlist Harold and Snub to help them push it down the road. While Harold and Snub are pushing, the crooks steal their bicycle. Meanwhile the local sheriff has been informed about the theft and is told the crooks escaped in a car—the vehicle that Harold and Snub now occupy. Marie Mosquini
Marie Mosquini (born Marie de Esy; December 3, 1899 – February 21, 1983) was an American film actress. Biography Born in 1899, Mosquini appeared in more than 200 silent films between 1917 and 1929. After leaving high school she became the resident ingenue at the Hal Roach studio, appearing opposite Roach's comedy stars Harold Lloyd, Snub Pollard, and Stan Laurel. In 1919, Roach formed a company headed by Pollard, with Mosquini as leading lady. They later became engaged. Mosquini was married to Roy Harlow, and they had one child who died at birth. In a two-year span, Harlow sued Mosquini twice for divorce. The first case was dismissed, and they reconciled. The second suit brought a cross-complaint from Mosquini, and the ''Los Angeles Times'' reported on December 31, 1925, that Mosquini "will receive a divorce decree today". Harold Lloyd Filmography
These are the known films of Harold Lloyd (1893–1971), an American actor and filmmaker most famous for his hugely successful and influential silent film comedies. Most of these films are known to survive in Lloyd's personal archive collection and in various film archives around the world. Some are also available on DVD or Blu-ray. The negatives of many of Lloyd's early short films were lost in a fire at his estate in 1943. The losses include five of the six Willie Work films, 53 of the 67 Lonesome Luke films, and 15 of the 81 one-reel Glasses character films. All of Lloyd's films from '' Bumping into Broadway'' (1919) onward exist in complete form in the archives. He carefully preserved his feature films, and they remain in excellent condition. Jamison's husky build and willingness to participate in messy slapstick and rowdy action guaranteed him work in silent comedies. In 1915 he was a member of Charlie Chaplin's stock company at Essanay Studios. From there he moved to the Hal Roach studio, playing hot-tempered comic foils for Harold Lloyd, Snub Pollard, and Stan Laurel.
