Gogol Premier
Jacques Dezandre (born 10 August 1957, in Paris), better known by his stage name Gogol Premier, is a French punk rock singer. In the early 1980s, Gogol and his band " La Horde" first founded a punk group combining music and happenings, which propelled him into the premises of Hara Kiri under the eye of Professor Choron for a memorable concert. Setter, the group was promoting alternative rock that advocated independence and self-production, giving more than 300 concerts throughout France and abroad. Ségolène Royal
Marie-Ségolène Royal (; born 22 September 1953) is a French politician who was the Socialist Party candidate for the Presidency of France in the 2007 election. Royal was president of the Poitou-Charentes Regional Council from 2004 to 2014. She won the 2006 Socialist Party primary, becoming the first woman in France to be nominated as a presidential candidate by a major party. Presidential Elections In France
Presidential elections in France determine who will serve as President of France and Co-Prince of Andorra for the French side for the next five years. Until 2002, the elections were held every seven years. They are always held on a Sunday. Since 1965 the president has been elected by direct popular vote. Candidates appear on the ballot after the Constitutional Council has validated their candidacy. Should no candidate receive over 50% of the vote in the first round, a second round is organised two weeks later with the top two contenders. Candidates in presidential elections in France have the right to visit French military bases on national soil and abroad to gain a better understanding of the French Armed Forces, although they are prohibited from using such visits for campaign events. ''Ciel, mon mardi !'' was a television talk show hosted by Christophe Dechavanne, which ran on French television TF1 every Tuesday at the beginning of the 1990s. Christophe Dechavanne (; born 23 January 1958), is a French television and radio host and program producer. Biography Dechavanne attended the Cours Hattemer, a private school. He started working as a radio host in the early 1980s. In 1985, he presented the daily talk-show ''C'est encore mieux l'après-midi'' on the state-owned television channel Antenne 2. In 1987, he went to work for the newly privatized channel TF1 : his first show, ''Panique sur le 16'', was not a success, but he soon found his niche with the late-night weekly talk-show ''Ciel mon mardi !'', a program which could be compared to Jerry Springer productions in United States. Claude Berri (; 1 July 1934 – 12 January 2009) was a French film director, writer, producer, actor and distributor. Early life Born Claude Beri Langmann in Paris, Berri was the son of Jewish immigrant parents.
