Go Comics
GoComics is a website launched in 2005 by the digital entertainment provider Uclick. It was originally created as a distribution portal for comic strips on mobile phones, but in 2006, the site was redesigned and expanded to include online strips and cartoons. Comics

''Baldo'' is an American comic strip written by Hector Cantú and illustrated by Carlos Castellanos. It was launched on April 17, 2000. Characters Primary * Baldomero "Baldo" Bermudez is the titular character. A Latino teenager, his primary interests are cars and girls. He is also obsessed with being cool, and is in the middle of an ongoing process to build his own lowrider out of a 1964 Chevrolet Impala. He has a job at ''Auto Y Rod'', an auto supply shop (whose logo resembles that of Mercedes-Benz), and according to comic strips in January 2007 and August 2011, he is 15 years old. * Graciela "Gracie" Bermudez is Baldo's annoying younger sister. Broom Hilda
''Broom-Hilda'' is an American newspaper comic strip created by cartoonist Russell Myers. Distributed by Tribune Content Agency, it depicts the misadventures of a man-crazy, cigar-smoking, beer-guzzling, 1,500-year-old Witchcraft, witch and her wikt:motley crew, motley crew of friends. The original idea for ''Broom-Hilda'' came from Elliot Caplin, brother of ''Li'l Abner'' cartoonist Al Capp. He described the main character to Myers, who responded with a sketch of the witch and several samples. Caplin, acting as Myers' business manager, submitted these to the Tribune Content Agency, Chicago Tribune Syndicate. Introduced on April 19, 1970, it became an immediate success. Brevity (comic Strip)
''Brevity'' is a single-panel newspaper comic strip created by Guy Endore-Kaiser and Rodd Perry, and currently drawn by Dan Thompson. Publication history ''Brevity'' originally began on Comics Sherpa (a site which helps beginning comic strips make their work public over the web). Endore-Kaiser cited Gary Larson's ''The Far Side'' as an inspiration. The strip was originally intended to be called ''Cow Tools'', in homage to a notorious ''Far Side'' cartoon, but the authors were forced to change it after receiving a cease-and-desist letter from lawyers representing Larson. The strip debuted with United Feature Syndicate in 55 newspapers on January 3, 2005. Today, ''Brevity'' is published in over 130 newspapers in the US and Canada. ''Brenda Starr, Reporter'' (often referred to simply as ''Brenda Starr'') is a comic strip about a glamorous, adventurous reporter. It was created in 1940 by Dale Messick for the Chicago Tribune Syndicate. History Although set in Chicago, ''Brenda Starr, Reporter'' initially was the only Chicago Tribune Syndicate strip not to appear in the ''Chicago Tribune'' newspaper. When the strip debuted on June 30, 1940, it was relegated to a comic book supplement that was included with the Sunday ''Chicago Tribune''. Soon the strip appeared in the Sunday paper and a daily strip was added starting October 22, 1945. During the 1950s, at the height of its popularity, the strip appeared in 250 newspapers. The Buckets
''The Buckets'' is a comic strip originally created by Scott Stantis. It has been syndicated since 1990, currently by Andrews McMeel Syndication. The comic centers on a suburban family of five; two parents, two boys, Toby, a moody adolescent and Eddie, a young boy, and their paternal grandfather. The Stantis family pet, Dogzilla, was the only character to keep his own name when Scott first created the strip based on his own family. The real world Dogzilla died in 2006 at the age of 17. Greg Cravens had sole responsibility of the strip at Dogzilla's death, and says Dogzilla will live on in the comic strip. His own dog is named Gi'Tli, which is Cherokee for 'Dog'. ''Bozo'' is the first pantomime-style comic strip, was created by the cartoonist Francis X. Reardon (with the pen name Foxo Reardon, or FoXo Reardon), who penned it beginning from 1921, until his death in 1955. ''Bozo'' is called America's original pantomime comic strip. ''The Boondocks'' was a daily syndicated comic strip written and originally drawn by Aaron McGruder that ran from 1996 to 2006. Created by McGruder in 1996 for Hitlist.com, an early online music website, it was printed in the monthly hip hop magazine ''The Source'' in 1997. As it gained popularity, the comic strip was picked up by the Universal Press Syndicate and made its national debut on April 19, 1999. A popular and controversial strip, ''The Boondocks'' satirizes African American culture and American politics as seen through the eyes of young, black radical Huey Freeman.
