Glenn Simpson (field Hockey)
Glenn Simpson (born 5 May 1987) is an Australian field hockey player. He plays for the Victorian Vikings in the Australian Hockey League. He is a member of the Australia men's national field hockey team, and in 2011 he won a gold medal in the Champions Trophy. He is currently sponsored bRitual Hockey Personal Simpson was born on 5 May 1987 and is from Melbourne, Victoria. When not playing hockey, he is an electrician. Field hockey Simpson started playing hockey as a seven-year-old and played junior hockey for Greensborough. Perth, Western Australia
Perth is the capital and largest city of the Australian state of Western Australia. Ric Charlesworth
Richard Ian Charlesworth AO (born 6 February 1952) is an Australian sports coach and former politician. He played first-class cricket for Western Australia and international field hockey for the Kookaburras (the Australian national team), winning a silver medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics. Charlesworth served as a federal member of parliament from 1983 to 1993, representing the Labor Party. After leaving politics, he was appointed coach of the Hockeyroos (the national women's field hockey team), leading them to Olympic gold medals in 1996 and 2000. Charlesworth later coached the Kookaburras from 2009 to 2014, and has also worked in consulting roles with the New Zealand national cricket team, the Australian Institute of Sport, and the Fremantle Football Club (an Australian football team). The Australia men's national field hockey team (nicknamed the Kookaburras) is one of the nation's most successful top-level sporting teams. They are the only Australian team in any sport to receive medals at six straight Summer Olympic Games (1992–2012).
