Glenn Moore (comedian)
Glenn Moore (born 20 January 1989) is a British stand-up comedian and presenter. Career Moore was a finalist in the 2011 ''Chortle'' Student Comedian of the Year Award whilst studying English Literature at the University of Sheffield. After graduating, he worked as a newsreader on a number of radio stations, whilst performing stand-up. Since September 2017 he has appeared as a panellist on the BBC2 panel show ''Mock the Week''. In October 2017 he joined the Absolute Radio breakfast show as a newsreader and "sidekick". He appeared on ''Mock the Week'' again in June 2018 and May 2019, and was later nominated for the most prestigious comedy prize in the UK, the Edinburgh Comedy Award, for his show ''Glenn Glenn Glenn, How Do You Like It, How Do You Like It''. Glenn Moore (softball)
Glenn Moore is the head coach of the Baylor Lady Bears softball team. In twenty-five seasons as a collegiate head coach, Moore has a coaching record of 941–442. Coaching career LSU Prior to coming to Baylor, Moore spent more than three seasons as head coach at LSU. Moore led LSU to the Southeastern Conference championship in 1999 and 2000. While at LSU, Moore had a 117–25 record, including a 53–7 record in the SEC. Moore was named LSU's head coach prior to the 1998 NCAA Regionals, where he led the Lady Tigers to a 2–2 mark. His first full season as head coach, 1999, saw the Lady Tigers go 56–10 and win both the SEC regular season and tournament titles. LSU repeated its regular-season crown in 2000, going 59–13 and setting a school record for wins while advancing to within a game of the Women's College World Series. Glenn Moore (rugby Union)
Glenn Moore (born 25 September 1959) is a New Zealand rugby union coach and former player. He was the Black Ferns head coach from 2015 to 2022. He guided them to their fifth World Cup title in 2017 before stepping down in 2022. Moore played as a flanker for Mid Canterbury during the 1990s playing between 1991 and 1994. Coaching career Club & Provincial Moore captained Zingari-Richmond in Dunedin between 1991 and 1994 before he became their coach for the next three years. Moore joined North Otago for the 2000 season and by the end of the year had already made a big impact. In 2002 he coached the union to the final of the NPC 3rd Division which the side won and were promoted to the 2nd division. Moore was responsible for the rapid development of the North Otago provincial team, taking them from the third division into the second where they were semifinalists in his last two years. Glen Moore (born October 28, 1941) is an American jazz bassist, who occasionally performs on piano, flute and violin. Moore was born in Portland, Oregon, United States. His performing career began at age 14 with the Young Oregonians in Portland, where he met and played with Native American saxophonist, Jim Pepper. He graduated with a degree in History and Literature from the University of Oregon. His formal bass instruction started after college with Jerome Magil in Portland, James Harnett in Seattle, Gary Karr in New York, Plough Christenson in Copenhagen, Ludwig Streicher in Vienna and Francois Rabbath in Hawaii. His main instrument is an upright bass which was made by Klotz in Tyrol around 1715. He mostly plays it in a personal unique tuning, using a low and a high C string. Moore is a founding member of Oregon, but worked also regularly with Rabih Abou-Khalil, Vasant Rai, Nancy King and Larry Karush.
