Glenn Moore (comedian)
Glenn Moore (born 20 January 1989) is a British stand-up comedian and presenter. Career Moore was a finalist in the 2011 ''Chortle'' Student Comedian of the Year Award whilst studying English Literature at the University of Sheffield. After graduating, he worked as a newsreader on a number of radio stations, whilst performing stand-up. Since September 2017 he has appeared as a panellist on the BBC2 panel show ''Mock the Week''. In October 2017 he joined the Absolute Radio breakfast show as a newsreader and "sidekick". He appeared on ''Mock the Week'' again in June 2018 and May 2019, and was later nominated for the most prestigious comedy prize in the UK, the Edinburgh Comedy Award, for his show ''Glenn Glenn Glenn, How Do You Like It, How Do You Like It''. Hurstpierpoint
Hurstpierpoint is a village in West Sussex, England, southwest of Burgess Hill, and west of Hassocks railway station. It sits in the civil parish of Hurstpierpoint and Sayers Common which has an area of 2029.88 ha and a population of 7,112. The village was once chiefly one long street running east and west and most of the buildings in it are of the 18th century or later. In the late 20th Century and early 21st Century saw Hurstpierpoint expanding greatly with new homes built north, east and west of the village. Hurstpierpoint hosts the Hurst Festival which takes place every summer and has an active Scouts and Guides Groups. Chortle
Chortle is a British comedy website launched in 2000 by Steve Bennett. The site is a major source of comedy news in the UK. It also reviews comedy shows nationwide, including extensively at the annual Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and presents the Chortle Awards to honour the best stand-up comics working in the UK. In recent years, the site has also branched out into events promotion. History Prior to starting Chortle, Bennett, who graduated from Oxford University, had been working as a local newspaper editor for the Informer group of free newspapers in Surrey and West London. BBC2

''Mock the Week'' is a British topical satirical celebrity panel show, created by Dan Patterson and Mark Leveson. It was produced by Angst Productions for BBC Two, and was broadcast from 5 June 2005 to 4 November 2022. The programme was presented by Dara Ó Briain and featured regular appearances by comedian Hugh Dennis, as well as guest appearances by a variety of stand-up comedians, some of whom had regular appearances in several series. The format of the programme saw six comedians divided into two teams and performing on a faux game show, in which the quiz aspect of answering questions relating to major and regional news items, all taken from the week before each episode's filming, is sidelined to focus on satirical, topical discussions on news items, stand-up routines, and the use of improvisational comedy. Absolute Radio is a British National radio station owned and operated by Bauer as part of the Absolute Radio Network. It broadcasts nationally across the UK via Digital audio broadcasting and on 1215 kHz MW. Edinburgh Comedy Award
The Dave's Edinburgh Comedy Awards (formerly the Perrier Comedy Awards, and also briefly known by other names for sponsorship reasons) are presented to the comedy shows deemed to have been the best at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland. Established in 1981, they are the most prestigious comedy prize in the United Kingdom. The awards have been directed and produced by Nica Burns since 1984. Format The main prize, which was for many years the only prize, and is now known as the Best Comedy Show, is awarded "for the funniest, most outstanding, up-and-coming comic / comedy show / act" at the Fringe. David Robert Berry (born 14 September 1978 in Lewisham, London) is a British TV and radio presenter. Berry currently hosts the Absolute Radio Breakfast Show, every weekday from 6am. He previously presented '' The Capital Breakfast Show'' from 2012 until 2017, alongside Lisa Snowdon, George Shelley and Lilah Parsons. Career Tailoring Berry began work in 'The Observatory', a South London vintage clothes shop.
