Glen Trifiro
Glen Joseph Trifiro (born 10 July 1987) is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Sydney United 58 in the National Premier Leagues. Career After playing for several years with various state league clubs in NSW and Victoria, Trifiro signed on loan from Sydney United with the Central Coast Mariners in the A-League during the January Transfer Window. Following impressive performances, he was handed a one-year contract to play on with the club into the next season. Trifiro became the first ever FFA Cup goalscorer for the Mariners in August 2014, scoring the only goal of the round of 32 game against South Coast Wolves. Trifiro was released by the Mariners on 1 March 2016. Sydney United 58 Football Club is a semi-professional soccer club and current NSW NPL Champions based in Edensor Park, Sydney, New South Wales Australia. The club was formed as Sydney Croatia in 1958, by Croatian Australians in the area, but it was renamed in 1993 as Sydney United after having the name Sydney CSC for a season. Jason Trifiro
Jason Trifiro (born 3 June 1988) is a former Australian football (soccer) player. Career Trifiro started his career in the semi-professional lower leagues in Australia, playing in New South Wales for National Premier Leagues NSW clubs Marconi Stallions, APIA Leichhardt and the South Coast Wolves. In 2011, he moved to Victoria where he played the 2011 Victorian Premier League with Northcote alongside his brother, before they both moved to ex- NSL heavyweight South Melbourne in the National Premier Leagues Victoria. In 2012 Trifiro was signed as one of the inaugural players for Western Sydney Wanderers. In 2014, he signed a one-year extension with the club. 2016 Waratah Cup
The 2016 Waratah Cup was the 14th season of Football NSW's knockout competition. The Preliminary Rounds are now a part of the 2016 FFA Cup competition. The 5 winners from the FFA Cup preliminary Seventh Round qualify for the Waratah Cup, as well as the reigning National Premier Leagues champion (Blacktown City FC). The Cup was won by the defending champions Sydney United 58, their 6th title. Waratah Cup
The Waratah Cup is a knockout cup competition in New South Wales, run by the governing body of football in NSW, Football NSW. Teams competing in the Waratah Cup come from the National Premier Leagues NSW, National Premier Leagues NSW 2, National Premier Leagues NSW 3, National Premier Leagues NSW 4 and numerous other semi professional & amateur association clubs within New South Wales. The Cup is held during the NPL NSW seasons. Since 2014 preliminary rounds of the Waratah Cup have been used to determine the NSW entrants to the national FFA Cup competition, now known as the Australia Cup. The 2013 National Premier Leagues was the inaugural season of the Australian National Premier Leagues football competition. It began on 22 February 2013 and concluded on 13 October 2013. 2020 National Premier Leagues
The 2020 National Premier Leagues was the eighth season of the Australian National Premier Leagues football competition. The league competition was played by eight separate state and territory member federations, namely the ACT, NSW, Northern NSW, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia.
