He played initially as a centre half-forward, but was then used as a defender. Over the course of three seasons, Coghlan amassed 29 league games. Waaia Football Club
The Waaia Football Netball Club, nicknamed the Bombers, is an Australian rules football and netball club playing in the Picola & District Football League. The club is based in the small Victorian town of Waaia, approximately 220 km from Melbourne. History "Waaia Football Club" can be said to have originated in 1894. Over the next couple of decades the club competed in a number of different leagues and associations. In 1935, the club commenced an involvement in the Picola and District competition that continues to this day. Waaia's first premiership was won in 1953. Its 1990 premiership is folklore in the district with Mick Cleeland's 50 m torpedo goal giving the Bombers a come-from-behind victory after the final siren had sounded. The Kyabram Football Netball Club, nicknamed the ''Bombers'', is an Australian rules football and netball club based in the town of Kyabram, Victoria. The club teams currently compete in the Goulburn Valley Football League (GVFL). Kyabram was a foundation club in the Goulburn Valley Football League (GVFL) and has been one of the most dominant. Only the Shepparton Football Club have won more premierships. The club had a successful era the 1920s, when they won five GVFL premierships, including the Kyabram Reserves winning the senior football premiership in the Northern Goulburn Football Association in 1929. The club has produced many VFL/AFL footballers, including Ross Dillon, Garry Lyon and Brett Deledio. Kyabram is a town in north central Victoria, Australia. Kyabram is located in the centre of a rich irrigation district in the Goulburn River Valley, north of Melbourne.
