Gladson Awako
Gladson Awako (born December 31, 1990) is a Ghanaian footballer who plays as a midfielder and captains Accra Hearts of Oaks. Career Early career Awako began his career with Berekum Arsenal and joined in 2006 to All Stars F.C. who played his first profi matches in the Ghana Premier League. On 11 March 2008 was scouted from Heart of Lions and left also after two years All Stars F.C. He played than from May 2008 a half year on loan from Heart of Lions for Real Sportive between October 2008 on loan for Real Sportive before turned back to Heart of Lions. On 29 April 2009 the 19-year-old Ghanaian U-20 National Team player by Heart of Lions completed a trial training at Tottenham Hotspur F.C. and was eyeing from Internazionale and A.C. Chievo in Italy. 2013 Linafoot
The 2013 Linafoot season (known as the ''Vodacom Superligue 2013'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 52nd edition since its establishment. It began on 20 March 2013 and ended on 23 June 2013. Only the first round was disputed, as halfway into the tournament, the Congolese Association Football Federation (FECOFA) decided to switch to a new competition format, with 'European' style calendar from October to May. The 2013-14 Linafoot was the first edition to be disputed under the new format. All matches played by TC Elima were awarded as 0-3 victories to its opponents after the completion of the tournament, for fielding an ineligible player, Patou Tingo Disasi. The Vodacom Ligue 1 is the top division of the Congolese Association Football Federation, the governing body of football (soccer), football in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It was created in 1958. In 2013, the highest attendance was set in the match DC Motema Pembe - AS Vita Club, which saw an attendance of 80,000 football fans at Stade des Martyrs. The President's Cup is an annual one-off game, featuring two selected clubs at the end of the season. The cup is called the GHALCA President's Cup because it is organized by Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) and played in honour of the sitting President of Ghana. In association football, a playmaker is a player who controls the flow of the team's play, and is often involved in offensively and defensively playing passing moves which lead to goals, through their vision, technique, ball control, creativity and passing ability. The 2009 African Youth Championship is a football tournament for under 20 players. It was held in Rwanda from 18 January until 1 February 2009. It also served as qualification for the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup. Qualification Preliminary round The first leg was played on either the 18, 19 or 20 April 2008.
