Giuseppe Anastasi
Giuseppe Anastasi (born 23 August 1976) is an Italian composer and musician from Palermo, Sicily. Life and career Anastasi was born to a father from Marsala and a mother from Palermo. At the age of 21, he was admitted to a music school in Rome, ''Cet di Mogol''. In 2001 he collaborated with Francesco Baccini, whom he wrote the song "Son resuscitato" and five years later, in 2006, he participated in the music festival Musicultura, where he reached to the final of the event with the song "Lo specchio". When he was working in the CET, as an assistant, he met with Arisa. He composed "Sincerità" for her, along with composers Maurizio Filardo and Giuseppe Mangiaracina, which won the "Newcomers' section" and the "Critic's prize" of Sanremo Music Festival 2009. In 2011, he composed the song "Sensi" for Anna Tatangelo. Sanremo Music Festival 2009
The Sanremo Music Festival 2009 was the 59th annual Sanremo Music Festival. It was held at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, province of Imperia, during the five nights between 17 February 2009 and 21 February 2009, and it was broadcast by Rai 1. Tha last night of the show was also broadcast live by RTV21 in Albania, RTK in Kosovo and by RSI in Switzerland. The artistic director of the contest was Paolo Bonolis, supported by Gianmarzo Mazzi. Bonolis also presented the show, together with Luca Laurenti. The competition was divided into two different sections. The "Big Artists" section included sixteen well-known singers, performing a previously unheard song, and it was won by Marco Carta's "La forza mia". The "Newcomers" section, featuring ten debuting or little known artists, was won by Arisa, performing the song "Sincerità". For the first time, a third section was added. The Sanremo Music Festival, officially the Italian Song Festival () and commonly known as just (), is the most popular Italian song contest and awards ceremony, held annually in the city of Sanremo, Liguria. The Sanremo Music Festival 2014 (''64° Festival della Canzone Italiana di Sanremo 2014'') was the 64th annual Sanremo Music Festival, a televised song contest held at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, Liguria, between 18 and 22 February 2014 and broadcast by Rai 1. Fabio Fazio and Italian comedy actress Luciana Littizzetto presented the show, which was based on the same rules adopted for the previous contest. Competing artists were split in two different sections—Big Artists and Newcomers. The Big Artists section included 14 established Italian artists. During the first and the second night of the show, each act performed two songs, and only one song per act was allowed to continue the competition, as a result of votes received by public and journalists. Anna Tatangelo
Anna Tatangelo (born 9 January 1987) is an Italian pop singer and television personality. At the age of 15, she became the youngest person to win the Newcomer's Award at the prestigious Sanremo Music Festival singing contest. Her repertoire consists mainly of pop music with slight influences of neo-melodic in some of the songs composed for her by singer Gigi D'Alessio, but also in the fifth fusion albums Progetto B. She faced several social issues and current affairs, such as the empowerment of women, homophobia, anorexia and violence against women. Since 2007 she also wrote some songs. Rosalba Pippa (born 20 August 1982), better known by her stage name Arisa, is an Italian singer and actress. Early life Arisa was born in Genoa, Italy. A week after her birth, her family moved back to their original hometown, Pignola, a village a few kilometres from Potenza.
