''Girlboss'' is an American comedy streaming television series created by Kay Cannon. The series was released on Netflix on April 21, 2017. The show was cancelled after one season. Synopsis The show is based on Sophia Amoruso's 2014 autobiography ''#Girlboss'', which tells the story of how Amoruso started the company Nasty Gal while working as a campus safety host for San Francisco's Academy of Art University. Macedo is a musical duo consisting of identical-twin sisters Michelle Alicia and Melissa Ann Macedo. Early life Twin sisters Michelle and Melissa were born in Pasadena, California.
