The ITF Women's World Tennis Tour, previously known as the ITF Women's Circuit, is a series of professional tennis tournaments run by the International Tennis Federation for female professional tennis players. History It serves as a developmental circuit for the WTA Tour, which is run by the independent Women's Tennis Association (WTA). There are several hundred ITF Women's Circuit tournaments each year, spread across all six inhabited continents, with prize money ranging from US$15,000 to US$100,000. Santa Maria Capua Vetere ( nap, Santa Maria 'e Capua) is a town and ''comune'' in the province of Caserta, part of the region of Campania (southern Italy). Irina Spîrlea (born 26 March 1974) is a retired tennis player from Romania who turned professional in 1990. She won four singles and six doubles titles. Spîrlea reached her career-high ranking on the WTA Tour on 13 October 1997, when she became No. 7 in the world. She retired in 2000. Ann Devries (born 27 February 1970) is a former professional tennis player from Belgium. Biography Devries, a right-handed player, was born in the Flemish city of Bree. She trained in Antwerp from the age of 12, and by 15 was making her debut for the Belgium Fed Cup team. Her match against Steffi Graf in the first round of the 1986 Fed Cup was the first appearance of the then West German in the competition. Devries was a member of Belgium's World Youth Cup winning side in 1986 and won the girls' doubles title at the 1987 Australian Open with Nicole Provis.
