Gina Jeffreys
Gina Jeffreys (also known as Gina Jeffries, Gina Hillenberg and Gina McCormack born 1 April 1968) is an Australian country music, country singer-songwriter and radio presenter. Career In 1991, Jeffreys competed in The Toyota Star Maker Quest at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. After releasing her first single "Slipping Away (Max Merritt & The Meteors song), Slipping Away" (a cover of the 1975 song by Max Merritt) through BMG Music and "Radio Santa" in 1992, Gina signed a record deal with Australian Broadcasting Corporation, ABC Music, and released "Two Stars Fell" in 1993. The song went straight to No.1 on the Australian country charts. "Two Stars Fell" won Jeffreys her first Golden Guitar, Golden guitar award at the 1994 Tamworth, New South Wales, Tamworth Country Music Awards of Australia for 'Best Female Vocal Award'. Christmas Wish (Gina Jeffreys Album)
"Christmas Wish" is the fourth studio and first Christmas album by Australian country singer Gina Jeffreys. The album contained four original tracks and nine Christmas classics. The lead single was "There's No Gift", which Jeffreys and McCormack co-wrote with American singer Jason Sellers. The album includes a duet with Australian jazz musician James Morrison and Australian a cappella vocal ensemble The Idea of North. ''Somebody's Daughter'' is the third studio album by Australian country singer Gina Jeffreys. It was released in June 1998 and became Jeffreys' second top twenty album after it debuted at No.13 It was certified Gold in Australia. ''Angel'' is the fifth studio album by Australian country singer Gina Jeffreys. It was released in April 2002 and became her third album to chart on the ARIA top 50 after it debuted at No.42. The 11th Annual Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards (generally known as the ARIA Music Awards) were held on 22 September 1997 at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney. ''Sale of the Century'' (stylized as ''$ale of the Century'') is an American television game show that originally debuted on September 29, 1969, on NBC daytime. It was one of three NBC game shows to premiere on that date, the other two being the short-lived game shows ''Letters to Laugh-In'' and ''Name Droppers''. The series aired until July 13, 1973, and a weekly syndicated series began that fall and ran for one season. The rights to the show were purchased in 1980 by Australian TV mogul Reg Grundy, who produced a similar show called ''Great Temptation'' in the 1970s.
