Gillian McCutcheon
Gillian McCutcheon (born April 1939) is a British-based actress who has appeared in many programmes over the years. She has played three parts in the ITV Soap opera ''The Bill'', alone. Her first role was '' The Avengers'', in 1961. She also played the unseen therapist in the 1990s series ''This Life''. Other credits include '' The Brothers'', '' Dixon of Dock Green'', ''Blake's 7'', ''Thriller'', ''A Horseman Riding By'', ''Emmerdale'', '' London's Burning'' and ''Holby City''. She is a senior member of London Arts Discovery. Roger Brierley
David Roger Brierley (2 June 1935 – 23 September 2005) was an English actor. Career Brierley appeared in dozens of television productions over a forty-year period. He twice appeared in '' Doctor Who'', as Trevor in ''The Daleks' Master Plan'' (1965) and as the voice of Drathro in '' The Mysterious Planet'' (1986). Brierley appeared as Mr Thoneycroft in episode 6 of ''The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin'' (1976), in the biopic ''Jinnah'' based on the life of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, in the Granada television series ''Jeeves and Wooster'' as Sir Roderick Glossop and as Michael Palin's latin teacher in an episode of ''Ripping Yarns'' called ''Roger of the Raj'', which was first shown on BBC television in 1979. Thriller (UK TV Series)
''Thriller'' is a British television series, originally broadcast in the UK from 1973 to 1976. It is an anthology series: each episode has a self-contained story and its own cast. As the title suggests, each story is a thriller of some variety, from tales of the supernatural to down-to-earth whodunits. Background The series was created by Brian Clemens, who also scripted the majority of the episodes and story-lined every installment. It was produced by John Sichel (the first three series), John Cooper (series 4) and Ian Fordyce (the final two series) for Associated Television (ATV) at its Elstree studios north of London. ''A Horseman Riding By'' is a sequence of 3 novels by R. F. Delderfield written between 1966 and 1968. It starts in 1902 at the tail end of the Boer War and is continued in the sequels to end in 1965. The first book is set in Devon in the early 20th century. It was to some extent an elegy for the traditional society which was blown apart by the First World War. After a three-part radio adaptation broadcast on the BBC Home Service and BBC Radio 4 in 1967, starring William Lucas, Josephine Tewson and Hilda Schroder, the first novel and the World War I portion of the second were dramatised as a BBC 13-part television serial, starring Nigel Havers, Prunella Ransome and Glyn Houston, broadcast on Sunday evenings from 24 September 1978. ''Dixon of Dock Green'' was a BBC police procedural television series about daily life at a fictional London police station, with the emphasis on petty crime, successfully controlled through common sense and human understanding. It ran from 1955 to 1976. The central character, George Dixon, first appeared in the film ''The Blue Lamp''. Dixon is a mature and sympathetic police constable, played by Jack Warner in all of the 432 episodes. Dixon is the embodiment of a typical "bobby" who would be familiar with the area in which he patrolled and its residents and often lived there himself.
