Gildas Arzel
Gildas Arzel (born 21 January 1961) is a French singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Alsace. In addition to his solo career, he has been in musical formations such as the duo Die Form, with Erick Benzi; the group Canada (with Benzi, Jacques Veneruso, and Gwenn Arzel); and since 2007, El Club, with Benzi, Michael Jones, and Christian Seguret ( fr). Arzel began his solo career playing a mix of Irish and Scottish folk, blues, rock, Cajun, Celtic, and ethnic music. He has written a number of songs for and collaborated with Celine Dion, Johnny Hallyday, Roch Voisine, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Carole Fredericks, Michael Jones, Maurane, Nanette Workman, Florent Pagny, Yannick Noah, France D'Amour, J.A.H.O., and others. Alsace
Alsace (, ; ; Low Alemannic German/ gsw-FR, Elsàss ; german: Elsass ; la, Alsatia) is a cultural region and a territorial collectivity in eastern France, on the west bank of the upper Rhine next to Germany and Switzerland. Nanette Joan Workman (born 20 November 1945, Brooklyn, New York, United States) is a singer-songwriter, actress and author, who has been based in Quebec, Canada, during much of her career. She holds dual citizenship of both the United States and Canada. She was raised by musician parents in Jackson, Mississippi, where she began her first performances. Although raised as an English speaker, she mainly performs in French. Gabriel Yacoub is a French musician, songwriter and visual artist. Biography Yacoub was born in 1952, in Paris, of a Lebanese people, Lebanese father and a French people, French mother. He was a guitarist and singer with the Alan Stivell group that toured France in 1971. Before he founded Malicorne (band), Malicorne, Gabriel and Marie Yacoub recorded the experimental album ''Pierre de Grenoble'' (1973).
