Gilberto Sepúlveda
Gilberto "Tiba" Sepúlveda López (born 4 February 1999) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Liga MX club Guadalajara. Club career Guadalajara Sepúlveda made his professional debut with Guadalajara on 8 January 2019, during a Copa MX group stage match against Cimarrones de Sonora in a 2–1 victory. He made his Liga MX debut with the club on 1 September, playing the entire match in a 1–1 tie against Cruz Azul. International career Youth On 25 October 2018, Sepúlveda was called up by Diego Ramírez to participate in that year's CONCACAF U-20 Championship. As Mexico would finish runner-up in the tournament, he was listed in the tournament's Best XI. In April 2019, Sepúlveda was included in the 21-player squad to represent Mexico at the U-20 World Cup in Poland. Guasave
Guasave () is a city and the seat of the homonymous municipality in the Mexican state of Sinaloa. It is located in the northwestern part of Mexico, southeast of the city of Los Mochis. It stands at . In the 2010 census, the city reported a population of 71,196, making it the fourth-largest community in the state, after Culiacán, Mazatlán, and Los Mochis. The municipality has a land area of 3,464.41 km2 (1,337.62 sq mi) and includes many other outlying communities, the largest of which are Juan José Ríos, Gabriel Leyva Solano, and Adolfo Ruiz Cortines. Panama National Football Team
The Panama national football team ( es, Selección de fútbol de Panamá) represents Panama in men's international football and is governed by the Panamanian Football Federation. The team represents all three FIFA, CONCACAF and the regional UNCAF. Panama qualified for the FIFA World Cup for the first time for the 2018 tournament in Russia and scored their first goal of the World Cup against England, although they lost the match 6–1. They finished bottom of their group. Panama finished as runners-up in the 2005 Gold Cup and 2013 Gold Cup, losing to the United States on both occasions. CONCACAF Under-20 Championship
The CONCACAF Under-20 Championship is the second longest running international association football event in the North America, Central America and the Caribbean region, CONCACAF, and is the qualification tournament for the FIFA U-20 World Cup. The format of the tournament has undergone changes over the years. The tournament proper is currently played with a first round of four round-robin groups from which the top two sides from each group advance to a single-elimination championship round. CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship
The CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship was a quadrennial, international, age-restricted football tournament organized by CONCACAF to determine which men's under-23 national teams from the North, Central America and Caribbean region qualify for the Olympic football tournament. The competition format had varied since its inception, from 1996 to the final edition in 2020 it had been hosted in a single country. On 16 September 2021, CONCACAF announced that the representatives at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games will qualify through the 2022 CONCACAF U-20 Championship. The two finalist at the Concacaf u20 tournament will qualify for the Olympics in 2024. The 2020–21 Liga MX season (known as the Liga BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons) was the 74th professional season of the top-flight football league in Mexico. The season was divided into two championships—the Torneo Guardianes 2020 and the Torneo Guardianes 2021—each in an identical format and each contested by the same eighteen teams. Both the Apertura 2020 and Clausura 2021 tournaments were renamed "Torneo Guardianes 2020" and "Torneo Guardianes 2021" (stylized as Guard1anes) to honor healthcare workers in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic in Mexico.
