Giancarlo Golzi
Giancarlo Golzi (February 10, 1952 – August 12, 2015), was an Italian drummer and songwriter, a founding member of the Genoan band Matia Bazar. Early career and Museo Rosenbach Golzi began his career in music as a drummer and percussionist for the Genoan band La Quinta Strada, which covered songs by artists like Jimi Hendrix and rock groups such as The Kinks, The Animals and Steppenwolf and by Rhythm & Blues stars like Otis Redding and Wilson Pickett. In 1971, La Quinta Strada merged with ''Il Sistema'' into the progressive rock band Museo Rosenbach, whose first album ''Zarathustra'' (1973), while well received by fans, sold poorly because of controversy surrounding its alleged pro-Fascist lyrics. Sanremo
Sanremo (; lij, Sanrémmo(ro) or , ) or San Remo is a city and comune on the Mediterranean coast of Liguria, in northwestern Italy. Founded in Roman times, it has a population of 55,000, and is known as a tourist destination on the Italian Riviera. Antonella Ruggiero (born 15 November 1952) is an Italian singer. Biography Antonella Ruggiero was born in Genoa, Liguria and made her first recording, ''Io Matia'' ("I Matia" in English), in 1974. Matia is the stage name under which Antonella Ruggiero officially began her solo career with the first and rare 45 rpm vinyl record (Matia in Genoa's language means "crazyness" or "crazy woman"), however she had already collaborated (unofficially) with the Jet in their LP vinyl record ''Faith, Hope and Charity'' lending her leading voice in the choruses. It was from the union of some members of both the Jet and Matia that in 1975 the band Matia Bazar was created. Ruggiero is classified as a light soprano and has an extraordinary voice that far exceeds 4 octaves thanks to the use of the whistle register. Eboli ( Ebolitano: ) is a town and ''comune'' of Campania, southern Italy, in the province of Salerno. An agricultural centre, Eboli is known mainly for olive oil and for its dairy products, among which the famous buffalo mozzarella from the area. The Sanremo Music Festival, officially the Italian Song Festival () and commonly known as just (), is the most popular Italian song contest and awards ceremony, held annually in the city of Sanremo, Liguria.
