Gholamreza Khan Arkawazi
Ghulamrezakhan Arkawazi (; c. 1765–1834) was a Kurdish poet and ascetic and a prominent literary figure from Pish-e Kuh region near Khorramabad in Iran. He wrote in both Feyli and Gorani. Biography Little is known about the life of Arkawazi and the chronology of his literary works. He was born in the village of Serçete near Ilam to a Shia Kurdish family who belonged to the Arkavazi tribe. His family were wealthy and he grew up in the village. His father Hasan Bag was a well-known figure and held the title of Khan. Arkawazi grew up speaking Feyli but also knew Gorani since it was the literary and administrative language of the Pish-e Kuh region. He moved to Najaf for his studies and documents indicate that he was well-versed in contemporary theological and mystical disciplines. He was respected in his home region of Pish-e Kuh and the ruler of the region Hasan Khan described him as " 'Tat lord of poets''". Gholam Reza Afkhami is an Iranian-born American scholar, author, educator, and a former Pahlavi Iran government official. He is the senior scholar and director of Social Science Research and International Studies at the Foundation for Iranian Studies. The Foundation for Iranian Studies is a Bethesda, Maryland-based research institution dedicated to the study of Iranian history, culture, economy and politics, created with the financial support from Princess Ashraf Pahlavi. Biography Before the Iranian Revolution, he was secretary general of Iran's National Committee for World Literacy Program (1975–1979), headed by Princess Ashraf Pahlavi, and was the Deputy Minister of Interior (1974–1975). Gholamreza Khosroo Kurdieh
Gholamreza Khoshroo Kuran Kurdieh ( fa, غلامرضا خوشرو کوران کردیه; December 1, 1965 – August 22, 1997) was an Iranian serial killer known as the "Night Bat". He began his murder series connected with thefts and rapes in Tehran in 1992. He was arrested, but escaped, before being arrested again in 1997 and executed for 9 murders. In court, he only confessed to a single case of car theft and stolen property, considering the murders to be personal work. Biography On December 1, 1965, Kurdieh was born in Faruj. He got married in Tehran, but following a disturbance, separated from his wife and returned to North Khorasan.
