Giorgio Ghezzi
Giorgio Ghezzi (; 11 July 1930 – 12 December 1990), nicknamed "Kamikaze", was an Italian football manager and player who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Born in Cesenatico, Ghezzi started his career at Rimini in 1947 and later played for Modena between 1949 and 1951. He subsequently joined Internazionale in 1951, making his Serie A debut that season in a 3–1 home win over Legnano on 21 October. He remained at the club for 7 years, playing a total of 191 matches with the team across all competitions (Serie A, European Cup and Coppa Italia). During his time with Inter, he won 2 Serie A titles in 1953 and 1954. At the end of the 1957–58 season, he was sold to Genoa, and then, in 1959, he returned to Milan, but to join Inter's cross-city rivals A.C. Milan, as a replacement for his perceived career rival Lorenzo Buffon, who had instead joined Genoa that season, and who subsequently moved to Ghezzi's former club Inter the following season. Ghezzi & Brian is an Italian motorcycle engineering firm and manufacturer based in Missaglia. History Ghezzi & Brian was founded in 1995 by Giuseppe Ghezzi and Bruno (Brian) Saturno to develop racing motorcycles using twin-cylinder engines. Vic Ghezzi
Victor J. Ghezzi (October 19, 1910 – May 30, 1976) was an American professional golfer. (Birth year sometimes listed as 1911 or 1912) Born in Rumson, New Jersey, Ghezzi won 11 times on the PGA Tour, including one major title, the 1941 PGA Championship, where he defeated Byron Nelson in 38 holes in the finals. He was selected for three Ryder Cup teams, 1939, 1941, and 1943, but each was canceled due to World War II. During the war, Ghezzi enlisted in the U.S. Army and began his training in early 1942. At the U.S. Open in 1946, he was in an 18-hole Sunday morning playoff with Lloyd Mangrum and Nelson. It ended in a three-way tie, forcing another 18 holes. Mangrum won that afternoon round by a single stroke over both Ghezzi and Nelson. Ghezzi was elected to the PGA of America's hall of fame in 1965. Sebastiano Ghezzi (1580–1645) was an Italian painter and architect of the Baroque period. Biography Born in Comunanza near Ascoli Piceno, he traveled to Bologna, where he derived instruction in design from Guercino. He however became more popular as an architect. Pier Leone Ghezzi
Pier Leone Ghezzi (28 June 1674 – 6 March 1755) was an Italian Rococo painter and caricaturist active in Rome. Biography Ghezzi was born and died in Rome. He trained under his father, Giuseppe Ghezzi, who also trained Antonio Amorosi. His father was secretary of the Roman Accademia di San Luca, and Pier Leone joined the Academy in 1705. His essay painting, the ''Allegory of Gratitude'', was donated to the institution for his admission, as was customary. He painted for various churches such as the Cappuccini of Frascati and San Onofrio of Urbino. He was the godson of Carlo Maratta. Pier Leone is known for his frescoes in the Villa Falconieri of Frascati. As a painter, his style changes quite much through the years, sometimes under the influence of French portraiture. His pen and gouache caricatures are much freer in emotion than his state portraiture, and were much admired.
