Ghazi University
Ghazi University ( ur, غازی یونیورسٹی) is a university in Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab, Pakistan. The university was established in 2012 at the initiative of the Chief Minister of the Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. It is named after Baloch mercenary Ghazi Khan. The university is situated in the center of city near pull daat and college chowk. There are two buildings of this university. One is at college chowk where students are recently studying and other is at Airport road. The campus at College road is called City Campus and the Campus at Airport road is called airport campus. The Airport campus is under construction. History In 1998, the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad opened its sub-campus as a college of agriculture at Dera Ghazi Khan. Dera Ghazi Khan
Dera Ghazi Khan (), abbreviated as D.G. Khan, is a city in the southwestern part of Punjab, Pakistan. It is the 19th largest city of Pakistan by population. Lying west of the Indus River, it is the headquarters of Dera Ghazi Khan District and Dera Ghazi Khan Division. History Foundation Dera Ghazi Khan was founded in the end of 15th century when Baloch people were invited to settle the region by Shah Husayn, of the Langah Sultanate of Multan, and was named after Ghazi Khan Mirrani, son of Haji Khan Mirrani who was a Baloch chieftain. Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif
Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif (Urdu, Punjabi: , ; born 23 September 1951) is a Pakistani politician and businessman who is currently serving as the 23rd Prime Minister of Pakistan, in office since 11 April 2022. He is the current president of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N). Previously in his political career, he served as the Chief Minister of Punjab three times, making him the longest-serving Chief Minister of Punjab. Ghazi Khan
Ghazi Khan ( Balochi, Urdu ) was a Baloch mercenary from who moved to Multan in the late 15th century at the behest of the Langah Sultanate. He was accompanied by his sons, Ghazi Khan, Fatih Khan and Ismail Khan. The Derajat had its existence as an historical area to the Baloch immigration in the fifteenth century. Sultan Husain, the Langah dynasty's Sultans of Multan, being unable to hold his trans-Indus possessions, called in Baloch mercenaries, and assigned these territories to Haji Khan. D. G. Khan Medical College (Urdu:), was established in 2010 and it is a public school of Medicine located in Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab., Pakistan. DHQ Teaching Hospital, Dera Ghazi Khan is affiliated as a teaching and training hospital. History The project for four new medical colleges was presented by a seven-member King Edward Medical University team earlier in 2009.
