Ghatothkachudu
''Ghatothkachudu'' is a 1995 Telugu-language fantasy comedy film co-written and directed by S. V. Krishna Reddy. The film is produced by K. Atchi Reddy under the Manisha Films banner. It stars Satyanarayana, Ali, Roja while Nagarjuna, Dr. Rajasekhar in a cameo appearance with music composed by S. V. Krishna Reddy. The film was recorded as a super hit at the box office. This movie also included the character Thota Ramudu from Yamaleela in which Tanikella Bharani who acted the role in the original movie, reprised his role. Plot The film deals with mythological character Ghatotkacha. The prologue of the film shows that Ghatotkacha ( Kaikala Sathyanarayana) is mortally wounded in the Kurukshetra War and falls. Kaikala Satyanarayana
Kaikala Satyanarayana (25 July 1935 – 23 December 2022) was an Indian actor, producer, director, and politician who predominantly worked in Telugu cinema. He appeared in over 750 films and served as the Member of Parliament in the 11th Lok Sabha representing Machilipatnam constituency from Telugu Desam Party. He was the recipient of the 2011 Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, and 2017 Filmfare Award for lifetime achievement in Telugu cinema. Tanikella Bharani (born 14 July 1954) is an Indian actor, screenwriter, poet, playwright and director who works predominantly in Telugu cinema.
